Celebrating... Jim Saxton of Bruce Ewing Landscaping has received the prestigious Landscape Achievement Award from the Indiana Nursery and Landscape Association at the 2012 Green Excellence Award ceremony. This award is given annually to an individual with good standing in the industry who has given freely of their time to the strengthening of the green industry in Indiana. Saxton received this award for his ongoing commitment and dedication to the nursery and landscape industry.
More about Saxton... He has a fascination with and talent for all things plant-related. He began arranging flowers at the age of 6, was a member of the American Orchid and Rose Societies by age 12 and built a greenhouse in his parent’s home by age 16. Beginning his career in the floral industry and assisting with Christmas decorations at the White House in 1974, he went on to establish Saxton Nursery in New Haven in 1975. In 2010, Jim and many from the Saxton Nursery joined forces with Bruce Ewing Landscaping. The perfect meld, this union is fast becoming the premier landscape and floral design company in the industry. The combined appreciation of fine landscaping and design has cemented this relationship.
Saxton has dedicated his career to helping clients achieve the home of their dreams by harmonizing interior design with exterior architectural landscape. His vision and talent can be seen in countless landscapes in Fort Wayne and the surrounding area.
