Q1 What qualities do you think make a great leader, especially for women
in business?
Great leadership begins with authenticity. The best leaders know who they are and lead from their values. They bring clarity, vision and emotional intelligence to the table, balancing confidence with humility and empathy with accountability. Women leaders often navigate complex expectations, and the most effective ones use that awareness to foster strong teams, advocate for others, and lead with both strength and care. They set boundaries, communicate with intention and make space for others to grow.
Leadership isn’t about being everything to everyone. It’s about showing up with purpose, owning your voice and creating a culture where others can do the same.
Q2 What do you enjoy most about your employer?
What I appreciate most about working at Carson is the culture we’ve created together. It is built on trust, accountability, and a shared commitment to putting people first — our clients and each other (in that order). There’s a strong sense of collaboration and open communication, and that’s what motivates each of us to bring our very best each day.
When all is said and done, it’s really the people. I genuinely enjoy the unique personalities, strengths and perspectives that each person brings. For me, Carson has created a space where I can enjoy my work, grow and feel supported, no matter what the day looks like.
Q3 How do you stay motivated and continue to grow professionally?
Motivation has always been something intrinsic for me. I’m driven first and foremost by my family; they are my “why.” That same motivation extends to the people I work with and the clients we serve. I want to show up as my best self not just for me, but for those who count on me. I also try to stay open to growth in all forms.
Being in a place like Carson, where growth is encouraged and people genuinely support one another, makes it easier to stay motivated and continue developing both professionally and personally.
