This month we celebrate 37 years of helping northeast Indiana businesses grow. We have diversified our offerings over the years and continue to look at additional ways to help businesses throughout the region.
As some of you know, I have been a cohost of a monthly podcast called “Between 3 Rivers” since January. Bill Khorshid, president of Bralin Laser, approached me a year or so ago and suggested that we create a podcast where we interview regional leaders. The idea is to interview and get to know these individuals on a level where they discuss not only their career, but also their personal lives to the extent they are comfortable sharing those details.

There you will find episodes featuring Brenda Gerber Vincent with GFW Inc., Chuck Surack of Sweetwater Sound fame, Joe Tippmann and Jason Fabini of the New York Jets, among other great guests. We are appreciative of all of our guests; they generously share their time and tell us some great stories. Last week we taped the latest episode featuring Rick Schuiteman, executive director of the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo.
Tom Henry, mayor of Fort Wayne for 16 years, was scheduled to be our guest in April. Sadly, Tom didn’t live long enough to tape that show. Instead, we invited two of Tom’s good friends, Karl Bandemer and Rick Briley, to join us and share stories about the beloved mayor. Check out their episode; I think you will like it.
While “Between 3 Rivers” isn’t an extension of the magazines we produce, it does serve a similar purpose of allowing people to tell their stories to a wide audience.
