Physicians Health Plan of Northern Indiana (PHP) is celebrating 40 years of serving its community. Established in 1983, PHP has consistently delivered access to affordable health care tailored to the unique needs of employers and their employees throughout Northern Indiana. As Indiana’s only not-for-profit health insurance carrier, PHP’s mission is to create innovative solutions that contribute to healthier communities through caring and collaboration.

Governed by medical professionals and business representatives from our region, PHP remains steadfast in cultivating healthier communities across its service areas. Social responsibility is championed through the PHP Foundation, which has contributed more than $10 million in grants to tax-exempt private agencies and public charities throughout Northern Indiana. PHP team members also routinely share their time and talent through nonprofit board leadership and hands-on volunteer opportunities, living examples of the PHP mission in action.
