1 - Favorite Lip Balm
Alba Hawaiian Coconut Cream has been a mainstay for 15 years. A friend recommended it to Sarah long ago and it’s the only one that does the trick. It’s only available online, so she panic-buys when her stash runs low.
2 - Family
Sarah values family time, especially since her son, George, went to college. He is wrapping up his first year at Bowling Green State University and left her with an empty nest. Pictured are Sarah and husband, Nick, son George, their Portuguese Water Dog named Pepper and extended family. Sarah is close with her sister, Allison, who has a one-year-old son, CJ. Her niece and nephew also have little ones, making holiday celebrations extra special.
3 - Summer Reading
Books are among Sarah’s favorite things. She loves a good page-turner and has a great line-up ready for this summer. A good variety of books is key, but she also enjoys old standbys that can be read over and over.
4 - Besties
Kathy Antibus, Jamie Mann and Melissa Fiedler make up Sarah’s tribe. Jamie and Sarah have been friends since first grade! They all attended Bishop Dwenger high school and have been close friends since freshman year.
5 - All Things Fort Wayne
Sarah is involved with the community through board and volunteer service. She is especially proud of her long-time connection to Foellinger Foundation. She has a special place in her heart for Easter Seals ARC and supports Culinary Queens as well. Her Women’s Business Council friendships keep her grounded.
6 - Lake Pleasant (LP)
The lake is a backdrop to Sarah’s life. Her great grandfather built a family cottage in 1925 and the rest is history. There is a peaceful quality about LP that gives Sarah joy and recharges her batteries. The lake is a place that holds treasured memories and new ones are made every summer.
7 - Music
Sarah rocks out to her 80s/90s favorites on her old-school iPods, while also mixing in plenty of hip-hop and country music, too. She creates custom playlists for vacations and summer boating, and would love to be a DJ in another life.
8 - Chocolate
You can always find a stocked candy dish on Sarah’s desk to encourage people to stop in and say hello. Works like a charm! Her Study Connection dish has been around since 1999 — a reminder of another great volunteer experience.
9 - Comfortable Shoes
Sarah broke her foot last summer and is on a quest for comfortable shoes that make her feel as good as a great pair of heels does. The search continues, but pictured here are some of her go-to pairs for comfort.
10 - The Lincoln Tower
A very special place to Sarah. She worked on the 4th floor in the late 90s and came back to the Tower when she joined Old National in 2014. Her aunt Ilene and cousins Teresa and Vicki ran the Soda Fountain from 1985 up until just a few years ago. Kudos to Josh Witte and his team at Tippmann Properties for the loving care they display. Christmas is especially magical at the Tower. Living
