1 - The Outdoors
During the warmer Indiana months, you won’t find Sarah indoors. She spends nearly all of her time outside surrounded by family, friends, and her adorable pups, Nelly and Bones. Whether it be floating in the pool or spending time gardening, Sarah soaks in as much Vitamin D as she can.

2 - Family
Sarah is very close with her family and loves the time she gets to spend with them. Pictured here is Sarah’s husband Mike (far right), her two sons, Charlie (17) and Tucker (13), her sister, niece and nephews.

3 - Ted Lasso
One of Sarah’s favorite shows, viewable on Apple TV. Ted Lasso is an American sports comedy-drama television series featuring Jason Sudeikis as an American football coach turned British soccer team manager. What he lacks in knowledge, he makes up for in optimism, determination and biscuits. A must-watch!

4 - DeKalb LEADS
DeKalb LEADS is a leadership development program under parent organization Fortify LEADS, and is Sarah’s passion project. It runs through the Sweitzer Family Foundation, of which she is the executive director. With a goal to cultivate leaders that are well-informed, well-rounded and engaged through training, networking and real-world experience, DeKalb LEADS is the premier leadership opportunity driving positive change and civic engagement in DeKalb County. Sarah is also heavily involved with Fortify Life, a part of the foundation focused on eradicating poverty. To stay properly hydrated while executing her job responsibilities, she uses her DeKalb LEADS water bottle that lights up to remind her when it’s time to refill or drink more. Her bone-conducting headphones and reMarkable tablet are also everyday musts.

5 - Coffee & Mug
Frederik’s by Meijer Michigan Cherry coffee is Sarah’s absolute favorite, and she is also committed to her Swig Life coffee/travel mugs. She has several different colors of the mug and favors them for several reasons: they keep coffee warm forever, fit in your car cupholder and, most importantly, your pool-float cupholder as well.

6 - Gallup Books
Sarah is trained as a certified coach through Gallup and is an avid reader. Gallup-Certified Strengths Coaches help people accomplish great things by doing what they naturally do best. Sarah and her team are all Gallup-trained and take pride in helping individuals and groups achieve their purpose using their CliftonStrengths.

7 - Nintendo Switch
The Switch serves as a way for Sarah and her sons to stay connected and have a good time with one another. Old-school games like Tetris, Monopoly and Risk are her favorites.

8 - Auburn, Indiana
Born and raised! Sarah is proud to be part of the Auburn community. The items pictured here are all from her favorite local boutique, Paper Gourmet, located on Main Street. Sarah loves supporting local and is a big fan of this family-owned-and-operated specialty gift shop.

9 - Girls’ Trips
Girls just want to have fun, and Sarah is no exception. She goes on several girls’ trips throughout the year and all destinations must have a beach, water and warmth. As a Purdue University graduate, she takes an annual trip with college friends to get away, reminisce, relax and recoup.

10 - Maple Bird Dog Whiskey
Sarah loves a good bourbon, especially if it’s flavored. Raspberry, strawberry, blueberry or blackberry all pair well with Sprite, Lemonade or Crystal Light. And when it’s drank poolside in the summer? Chef’s kiss.
