Reason for Celebrating...
On May 13, Mike’s Carwash held its 8th annual Get a Wash, Give a Future fundraiser, benefiting eight local Big Brothers Big Sisters chapters. Half the proceeds from every Ultimate and Works Wash sold during the one-day event went to Big Brothers Big Sisters, resulting in a donation of $91,051.92. The donation will help support Big Brothers Big Sisters mission of empowering children to succeed through youth mentorship programs.
Organization History…
Founded by Joe and Ed Dahm in 1948, Mike’s Carwash was the first automated carwash in Indiana. Mike’s has since grown to a total of 19 locations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky – with plans to continue to expand in current and new markets. While Mike’s is not a huge company, it donates and gives back at a huge level. Since 2015, Mike’s has donated over $750,000 to local charities and organizations.
