This year’s event was a great success—even with the extreme heat of near 100 degrees! On July 23, Roanoke welcomed over 450 vintage classic cars, exotic sports cars, high-performance street rods and Museum Cars from Auburn Cord Duesenberg. There were upwards of 3000 people in attendance viewing great feature tribute cars like the Corvette, Mopars and the 50’s era Big Fin Rocket Cars. There was even a special guest from the UAW/GM promo semi-trailer with a R/C race track the GM Future Liner and a 911 Firetruck. Next year promises to be just as exciting and will feature a Tribute to the Ford Automobiles and with American Graffiti (Move Vibe), “Where were you in ‘62” with old school hot rods, street racers with superchargers, gassers and nostalgia drag racing cars.
