It’s time to don your knee-high socks and sweat bands and join Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) for this summer’s newest Three Rivers Festival event! FWA is teaming up with the Three Rivers Festival and the SportONE Parkview Fieldhouse to host the city’s biggest charity dodgeball tournament on Sunday, July 14. The event is part of Allegiant’s Dodge High Fares campaign, which is aimed at increasing the awareness of its affordable air fares and vacation packages to four sunny destinations directly from FWA.
The tournament will be coordinated by the National Dodgeball League (NDL), the nationwide leader in professional dodgeball tournaments. The NDL is made up of 19 professional dodgeball teams and hosts the Dodgeball World Championship in Las Vegas each summer. In accordance with the Official NDL Rules & Regulations of Play, all teams must wear matching uniforms and creativity is encouraged.
Registration is $100 per team (six to eight people per team), and all proceeds from the event will be donated to one of eight local charities of the winning team’s choice. Other prizes and trophies will be awarded to first, second and third place teams. If you would like to participate, sign your team up at dodgehighfares.com.
