Quake Manufacturing, Inc. will announce a million dollar investment in new manufacturing equipment on April 10. The company is currently located off of 3923 Engle Road. It plans to add up to six new machinists to its current team of eleven.

“Investing in new equipment will allow us to stay competitive in the manufacturing industry,” stated Paul Quake, CEO. “This investment will also provide us the opportunity to take on more projects, which in return will create new jobs for the community.”

Quake Manufacturing was established in 1990 by owner Hermann Quake and expanded to its current 8000 square foot location in 1996. In 1999, Hermann retired and his son Paul was appointed the company’s chief executive officer. Quake Manufacturing plans to complete this project by 2017.

“Longtime, successful businesses are the backbone of the City and I’m delighted to see Quake Manufacturing investing in its future, our workforce and our community,” said Mayor Tom Henry.
