The commission commended the program and faculty for a superlative effort in preparing the self-study report, related documentation and the construction of a masterful document which established compliance with the evaluative criteria. “The organization of the document, thoughtfulness of assembly and quality of program responses throughout the narrative made the report one of the easiest for the panel to review in many years,” the commission noted.

Also praised was “an excellent learning experience for program students, which produces competent graduates who possess entry-level knowledge and skills as physical therapist assistants and who are prepared to pass the licensure examination upon graduation from the program and enter the workforce.”

“This reaffirmed accreditation underscores the quality of our Physical Therapist Assistant Program, and the dedication of its faculty, staff and students to excellence,” says university President Sister M. Elise Kriss, OSF.
