Satek Winery of Fremont, Indiana was honored with the coveted People’s Choice “Favorite Wine” for its Mango Mania wine at the annual Taste of Elegance dinner, held in Indianapolis at the Indiana Roof Ballroom last night.

The Taste of Elegance is a premiere chef competition and culinary event designed to inspire innovative and exciting ways to menu pork, with entries from some of Indiana's finest restaurants. The event is complemented by a wine tasting sponsored by the Indiana Wine Grape Council, where Satek Winery’s Mango Mania was selected as “Favorite Wine.”
“It’s a tremendously organized event that highlights the continuing quality of Indiana wines and we are honored to receive this distinction,” said Shane Christ, head winemaker for Satek Winery, who was in attendance.
The Taste of Elegance is an annual event sponsored by Indiana Pork Producers, and presented in partnership with Indiana Farm Bureau, Indiana Soybean Alliance & Indiana Corn Marketing Council.
