Parkview and YMCA Announce Collaboration
Parkview Health and the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne have announced they have formed a collaboration to enhance health and wellness opportunities and chronic disease prevention and management.
Both organizations will work closely together to raise awareness and implement programs designed to create a healthier community.
Key focus areas will include:
*Health and wellness
*Chronic disease prevention and management
*Diabetes education and prevention
*Childhood and adult obesity
*Nutrition
*Healthy living education programs
*Education programs led by Parkview Physicians Group physicians
*Health screenings

As part of the collaboration, Parkview and the YMCA will create an operating council, consisting of representatives from each organization that will meet regularly to develop strategies to maximize the partnership and its effectiveness.
