The sites, sounds and scents of the holiday filled the air at the 2011 Taste of the Chamber. If you were one of the 700 guests who attended this year’s Taste, you know the festive atmosphere was a huge success.
The recent holiday event was one of the largest and most successful in Chamber history. Thirty-five restaurants and caterers showcased their delectable treats which were sampled be hundreds of partygoers. From the sweetest to the most savory and everything in between, this year’s Taste of the Chamber offered something for everyone.
An event of this magnitude isn’t possible without the participation of many great people. Chamber member restaurants and caterers provided exceptional service to guests. Chamber volunteers assisted in the decoration mini trees for the silent auction, greeted guests, and worked throughout the evening to assure the event went smoothly. Staff members worked diligently to insure the increased attendance and beauty of the evening.
Many noticed a new look to The Chamber’s holiday decor. The beautiful decorations were provided by Chamber member Rustic Hutch. Its design team turned The Chamber into a festive holiday party place. You can visit the Rustic Hutch at Jefferson Pointe.
The holiday sounds of the Summit City Chorus were a welcome addition this year’s event as well. Find out how to have them entertain your group online at www.summitcitychorus.org.
The team from Blue Jacket Inc. made a big impact on the event this year. Blue Jacket provides The Chamber with a team of people to assist with the very large task of setting up for this event.
The Chamber wishes to extend its gratitude to the team at Blue Jacket and its executive director, Tony Hudson, for the hard work and dedication they provide each year. For more information on working with the Blue Jacket team, go to www.bluejacketinc.org.
Keeping the Blue Jacket team well dressed this year was the task of Christopher James Menswear. Christopher James Menswear, formerly Andrew Davis Menswear, also keeps many Chamber members looking sharp during the holiday season and throughout the year. The Chamber wishes to thank the Christopher James team for all of its hard work. You can visit Christopher James Menswear in Covington Plaza on West Jefferson Boulevard
